This is brilliant, my first comic is underway.... Its called Dr Steve, and the main character is a fridge, thats also a doctor, and has come from hell... He has magic powers, regularly uses them to incinerate his friends, and is a fridge.... He also has a nifty goatee.... Its basically all aboot Dr Steve trying to make sense of the world, often with hilarious consequences....
There's also a group of seperate characters, in the vain of Noodle Boy, as in, with there own, non relevant stories... There's...
Baron Von Match- A match, thats also a baron and wears a monocle, whos hounded by WW1 era biplanes that infuriate him so much, his head lights on fire.......
Techno Rat- A sleazy rat that hangs out with Bernald (fanning) and tries to pick up girs in night clubs, who all reject him on the grounds that he's a rat, every strip ends with Bernald serenading someone 'I just wanna wish you well'
Stateor- A square block with a face that rides around on treadmills stating the obvious, often with tragic results..
Pretentious Man- The number one scenester who travels around telling people he 'preferred the original' or 'That band is too commercial for me'
So far, ive got the drawings done for them all, and Ive made strips for Techno Rat, Stateor, and Baron Von Match... The drawings are obviously shit, but that almost makes it funnier...
I think Ive finally found my calling!
