Autocar India annual issue
The Autocar India 10th annual issue has arrived. Frightfully thick at 436 pages. Mostly articles that too, unlike half of it being ads like in some US photography mags. Since 2004 they have 'tested' something special besides a car.
2004 - Indian Army's MBT Arjun
2005 - Indian Air Force's ALH Dhruv helicopter
2006 - Nothing special that I can remember
2007 - Indian Army's Mahindra Axe jeep like vehicle
2008 - BEST's Double Decker bus
2009 - Indian Railways GM locomotive
I suppose this way in 2010 they will test the Indian Navy's Delhi class destroyer, and in 2011 ISRO's GSLV launcher. And I am being very serious here.
