I am staging a return of the imp. Me, that is. Besides really enjoying the word "imp," I was a delightfully mischevious little girl, and then something happened. You can see it in the pictures--my impishness shines bright and clear in my three year-old self, then gradually diminishes, lurking droopily behind my glasses. The spark returns now, though. It has something to do with fearlessness, that devil-may-care, trouble-rousing attitude, delighting in fun and new, though with a healthy regard to safety and responsibility (you define healthy your way, and I'll define it mine :).
I am officially an imp. "Watch out," they say. "That one's trouble."
So, this imp might take a class on child development at Merritt College this summer. It would put another plan on hold until late July, but I think that I can live with that.
Off to babysitting now--my third infant acquisition. Delightful.
