(no subject)
While walking to my Psychology class yesterday, and one of the janitors smiles at me and I smile back. She was a small Spanish lady, and then she just bursts out with "Hello, pretty lady! How are you?" It was one of those statements that you can tell that there was no absolute ulterior purpose in it. And of course, after giving her a courteous answer, I thought about it. My perception of things and people is so radically different now... more so than even a couple of months ago.
