Matt allowed his tongue to tangle with hers, tasting her, breathing in her soft sighs. His body ached for
the comforting embraces they'd share later, the warmth of her skin against his and the familiarity of their union that he'd come to rely upon so much.
But as they parted and he caught the look in her eyes he wondered if this really was the kind of love he
wanted, or if Abby was simply just “making do” with second best in an attempt to mend her shattered heart after Connor had died.
He was too afraid to ask.
