it's been way too long!!!
A lot has happened with me the past 1+ years. I fell in love with my best friend, and... we are engaged! I think the craziest thing about my life the past 7 years is being close to someone, only to find out that they weren't the one for you, and instead, falling in love with someone who has been there all along! He's the most amazing person. We have a house in the Heights which is in the city of Houston, TX, have 2 dogs Cricket and Soda, and we couldn't be happier. We have been together for 1 year and 4 months. Time flies!!! Our wedding is next November, and nooo... we aren't getting married on 11-11-11. \
I have been working on a lot of art the past year. Have been in several art shows and still working in the design field as well. I have a corporate job, and lead a very successful path in it. I am not worried about that, it's all about living and unfortunately, money is the reason for everything. Which sucks!! But I am very happy with my day job, because when I get home, it's all about what I want to work on.
I haven't been doing any music lately, but I would say that's definitely on my list for 2011. It's been too long, and music is a big part of my life. Can't abandon it now!
I would say that 2010 was good to me. Everything that was negative to me the years before that, doesn't even phase me anymore. I don't even REMEMBER most of those times now, because they have been overshadowed by BETTER times. When I used to write about how I was so upset and depressed and wanted a change in my life, it happened. It was difficult to make the shift into being a true independent woman, but I did it. And the happiness that another person brings to your life, makes it complete. I can't wait to share that journey with you all!!
