::bounces with happy because Friday Update is actually happening, and I'm actually finding out what is going on in the lives of my peoples::
Except, of course, I'm not actually bouncing because I have a hella migraine which is basically taking out the left side of my skull and neck with pain. Ow. Ow. Ow.
Other stuff. Updatey like:
- Apparently my e-mail has been hacked, since a whole bunch of people got random messages with links that I didn't send. You have been warned.
- Just started playing D&D On-line with my other half, which is fun and something I haven't done in, well, forever.
- I keep wishing for that cybertronic eye that takes pictures, as the boys keep posing perfectly (frex: Standing and admiring a beautiful flower), and I don't have time to go get the camera and frame the shot before they move. Rassa frassa mobile children.
- Am actually writing. Some. Sorta. A bit more researching that writing, which has always been a problem with me. Just. Sit. Down. And. Write. Consider turning off the internet.
- Doing some pretty harsh work with my therapist with the goal of getting me out of hermit-in-the-basement mode and into getting-stuff-done-in-my-life mode. Not especially succeeding yet, but still working on it.
- Looking forward to the Smallville series finale tonight, and admittedly it's partially because I can't wait for a Smallville finale which isn't a f******* cliff-hanger. Cliff hangers are evil.
- Getting things organized to man the fort and sit on all three kids next weekend so the hubby can go to Camp Nerdly for his birthday. (Well, the first part of his b-day. There's more, 'cause he's hitting the big 4-0 and we need to celebrate! Don't tell him though.) Anyway, trying to collect warm bodies to come by and make sure I haven't barricaded myself into a corner.
- This week I took the boys to: Griffith Park playground (with the dog - go me!), the tire playground at Seneca Creek, the moonbounce playground at WF Mall, and Target for shopping and errands. Only one day this week were we home all day!
- AND - Andrew was sent home from school on suspension for *none* days. Go Boo!
- Still spending way too much time on Cityville and Gourmet Ranch on fB. I've given up all the others!! Mostly. Um. Almost.
- Had a good conference with all the teachers on Andrew's team to work on some of the big problems he's having his freshman year. The lion's share are about organization, and I don't have the heart to tell him it will get better. At least, it hasn't yet for me.
- On a related note, I'm considering asking my psyche to put me on some form of Ritalin. I'm seriously having that much trouble focusing and getting almost anything done.
- Oh - NOTE TO LOCALS - Balth and are probably going to by a table in the Germantown Historical Society Flea Market next month on June 4. Basically a huge yard sale that guarantees a big crowd of people coming through. Anyone interested in throwing their lot in with us, let me know. Anyone with tables or freestanding wardrobes to borrow, please let me know.
Ok, off to continue keeping the children alive. And possibly do dishes or laundry or something productive-like.
