Brennan's new trick
I have to take another break from the birth story to mention the new trick Brennan tried out yesterday. For approximately 20 hours straight he would NOT let us put him down. He woke up at 7am yesterday seeming all normal, nursed just fine and got a clean diaper, and fell asleep in my arms. When I went to put him down so I could make myself some breakfast, he started crying. So I picked him back up. Then he kept doing that until about 3am the next morning. Blair and I had to pass him off all day in order to eat, pee, nap, etc ourselves. He ate often and seemed like he might be a little constipated, so it could have been a growth spurt or a tummy ache or he could have just decided he needed extra human contact that day. Of course, he also had to do this on St. Patrick's Day when all of the people we could normally call to come over and hold him for an hour are out drinking green beer. We're now in his second cycle of sleeping back in the crib, so I'm going back to bed...
