Day 01 - Introduce yourself
I'm Kalli. I'm 26 years old. I was born close to Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to the burbs when I was 1. I have never lived anywhere outside of Utah. I love it here... with the exception of the Mormon Guilt that resides deep inside of me because I'm not Mormon.
I am the 2nd youngest of 5, but was raised as the middle of 3. That's another day.
I have been dancing since I was 2.5. Never stopped. I love dance. It's really in my bones, it's my blood and my biggest stressor in life. Ever.
I got married 2 weeks shy of my 19th birthday. (Still married 7.5 years later).
I'm vegan. I have been since I was 15 or 16... I can't remember much from 15-18 aside from cheerleading, partying, having low self-esteem.
I am a dance teacher now. I have been teaching for about 8 years. I was an assistant and substitute before that since I was 14. I always knew I would be a teacher, I knew I never wanted to stop dancing.
I'm not religious. I'm not usually one to strike up conversations about politics or anything drama inducing. But I cannot keep my mouth shut if you're acting like a jack ass in front me. This happens often and in random places here.
I think I'm pretty funny.
I love Jeremy. I love sweet Isadora. I love shopping. I love sneakers. I love snuggling under a blanket and being warm. I love pigtails. I love Hello Kitty. I love tube socks. I love Morrissey. I love Ben Kweller. I love cloudy skies. I love giant bows (on Izze). I love modern dance. I love Halloween. I love tap dance. I love writing but I don't do it a lot. I love finding new music... but now that I'm older my taste is different/boring. I love cartoons. I love heather gray. I love sun dresses. I love Thanksgiving. I love t-shirts. I love small dogs. I love twitter. I love spending money. I love my family. I love my iPhone 4. I love most Apple products. I love musicals. I love singing in the car. I love shaking it with Izze. I love bushy eyebrows. I love scruffy faces. I love dark eyes. I love where life is taking me lately. I love growing up... but not aging.
I'm very caring. I'm too much of a people pleaser. I have occasionally been a waffler too. I'm new to the whole world of looking pretty. I'm a good mama. I'm a good wifey. I'm the best friend you'll ever have... but I don't have many friends who are that way to me.
