Fundraiser.
My students on my comp teams are doing this ridiculous fundraiser. I feel bad for them, because I don't think they'll make any money.
They all have these basketball tickets that they have to sell for at least $5.00 a piece. They can sell them for up to $20 and they'll be performing at the half time of said game.
They will make all the profits from selling their tickets, if (and that's a big IF) we recoup our costs of buying the tickets... $2000. Are you kidding me? I don't know what our director was thinking.
My kids are like, "Oh, the game is this month?!?" I doubt they'll make their money back and our studio will lose money. She only gave the girls over the holiday to sell these tickets. Plus they each have to buy a ticket and I have to buy a ticket too. RIDICULOUS!!
But I guess if you're in Utah and you want to see second rate basketball my kids will be performing at the half time of the Flash game on 22nd of this month. I'm only selling tickets for $5 so we can make our $2000 back and my kids will get the money they need.
I'm sorry if you have to see this other places (twitter, facebook) I'm going to be posting it like a crazy lady for my kids.
Also... transferring all your stuff to a new computer is a pain. Especially the iPhone part.
