CAUSE SANTA CLAUS COMES TONIGHT!!!!!!!!
Also... I haven't gone grocery shopping yet and yesterday it was like a cartoon, I didn't have bread or anything to make lunch for my sisters's kids (Izze wasn't eating poor girl). My cupboards were bare, like Old Mother Hubbard... Thank God for peanut butter and jelly tortilla roll ups! WHEW!!
I have made Silk Nog French Toast for years, since I remember seeing Silk Nog in stores even. The past 3 years, I've made it on Christmas Eve morning... so last night we stopped at Whole Foods to pick up all the vegan substitutes we'll need for Dinner tonight and tomorrow. And silly me, because I waited until the last minute, they were out of it. I asked the sales associate and he was so funny, he gave me a Pumpkin Spice Milk for free. (Honestly they probably wouldn't sell them all anyway, it's just not as good). So this morning, we're having Pumpkin Spice Pancakes instead. That is, when Izze wakes up.
Izze was pretty sick yesterday. She's had the little d's for a few days then not last night, but the night before she couldn't stay asleep and after about 30 times (I kid you not) of getting up with her and snuggling her and getting her to calm down, I just brought her in my bed. The next morning my sister brought her kids over and they played while Izze slept. When Izze woke up she just could stay up. And bam. She threw up. I cleaned her up, changed her and she wanted to lie in bed. So there she was, in bed, while her cousins played in her toy room. She looked at me so pathetically, so I suggested we watch a movie, but realized I needed to feed them all lunch first, so I fed them all and Izze was eating really well and bam! Again. Bright pink all over my kitchen table. Owen, my 4 year old nephew was like, I'm not so hungry anymore... So then we popped in Polar Express and Izze slept through all of it.
She pretty much slept for an hour and a half, woke up for an hour, repeat repeat repeat. I called her doctor's office and they told me to watch for dehydration, but Izze would let me give her sips of juice or water when she was awake and soon before we had to get ready for our Christmas party she was like totally better. She was so good at the party, most the other kids were either completely misbehaved or not allowed to make one mistake. I couldn't help but be reminded, that Jer and I are good parents. :) That may be snotty, but all of Jer's cousins and aunts and uncles are either complete douchey snobs (with no right) or trashy dicks (with every right). We're a happy balance, but I'm sure we're viewed as the strangest things to walk the planet. But hey, our kid is cute and sweet as hell!
I have to brave the stores today and grocery shop... like full on grocery shop. I'm an idiot. Hopefully it's not too busy if I hit the stores before 11. Here's hoping.
I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday!! :) I think mine is well on it's way to being one of the best yet.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
