MORE COOKIES!!!

What the hell is wrong with me? More cookies?

I'm making sugar cookies right now. The dough is in the fridge...

I was looking at Halloween crafts and fun things to do with Izze pertaining to the special day and she saw some ghost cookies. She was like BOO!!! GHOST!! And starting shaking and said "scary..." I said "those are ghost cookies, Iz" and she was like "HELL YES, MOM!! Make them now or else." So I made my sugar cookies, surprisingly they're not from a box of cake mix. Haha!!

Izze started playing potato heads and I didn't want to interrupt her independent play... so I'm holding out.

She picked out the ghost, the pumpkin and the cat cookie cutters. I was like HEY! Let's do a star and Izze rolled her eyes. "Lame, Mooom"

Something cute? If I say Halloween, Izze says "me!" because she knows her birthday is that day. I don't think she knows what that means, but she does know we talk about it a lot.

Also. Izze had her first full blown toddler tantrum meltdown today. Our landlords gave us two huge buckets filled to the brim with apples from their trees. We were rushing out the door and Izze wanted to bring the buckets with us. She was seriously boneless, flopping around screaming "BUCKET!!!" "NO MAMA!!! APPLES!!!" It took both Jeremy and I to strap her in the carseat. She wouldn't take soymilk, she wouldn't take her ONE apple, she wouldn't take her cookies, not even Brobee! She screamed for probably more than 20 minutes before she fell asleep. She just kept screaming, "BUCKET!!!" "MAMA!!!" "BUCKET!" Seriously... testing some boundaries there, huh, Iz?
I have this little voice in the back of my head telling me to watch out for the behavioral changes when you wean... but does this count for toddlers too? I mean this is normal toddler behavior Izze just hasn't shown before, but it doesn't really mean it's due to the weaning? Naw...

UH OH... Izze beacons.

bye.
