It's been a fun day. My brother has a bunch of time off work so he's been hanging out with me a lot. Yesterday I decided to finally take Izze to get her own library card. I didn't have one either, so we both got one, it was so fun letting her pick out a few books and she loved that she could take them home, this morning I asked her if she wanted to take the books back and get some more books, she loved the idea. She put them in the bag reserved for library books and we went on our way.
At this rate we're probably going to need some suggestions, for both of us. I'm going to read the Dexter books since I love the tv show... love it... a lot. I'm going to make a book wish list for Izze because out of both days we've checked out books I've fallen in love with more than one. We love books at our house, my sister used to be a school teacher and we'd go crazy on book orders. (Even before we had kids!!!) For Izze's birthday I'm going to mention there is a wish list of sorts for gift ideas for her. If that's not tacky enough, I'll provide pictures too.
Speaking of books, someone sent me a chain letter, well they say it's not a chain letter, it's a "book exchange" for kids. There are two children listed, you send a book to the first child listed, the replace his name with the second child's name and replace the second child's name with your child's name. You send it to 6 people and you get a bunch of books. The idea sounds fun, but I don't know 6 people, let alone 6 people I would trust to send out books to the child on the list.
Izze wants me to read "M is for Mischief" now. So we're reading away. So cute.
