Dhabolt Family Samhain Celebration 2011!
We had a fantastic Samhain/Halloween yesterday! First things first, here's the videos I have for Samhain. The second one is very long...
Part 1 actually takes place AFTER the first section in the second video, but I was able to upload this one first.
These first several are from the Taekwondo Halloween party on the 28th. As the evil witch, I handed out apples. :-D
Samhain Day!
When Rhiannon went down for her nap, it was time to get ready for our family Samhain ritual. Seamus wrote down what he wanted to "banish" for the Banishing Spell that we did during the ritual. He's got a cold right now, so he wanted to banish his cold.
Our family ritual altar, with our corn husk dollies on it. The one on the far left is mine, then Gwyddion's, and Seamus' on the far right.
Then a little later I did my own personal Samhain ritual (mostly because I forgot to bless my new tarot cards during the family ritual, lol...). I had my doll represent the Goddess and Gwydd's doll (which he made as a faery) represent the God:

It was a great Samhain celebration! Kids had lots of fun, Chiefs won the game (yay!), Seamus enjoyed the ritual, and we have lots o' candy!
We also wanted to bob for apples yesterday, but just didn't have the time, so we are doing that today!
