I am 37 weeks along with baby #2 and at our ultrasound today we found that she is still in transverse position. My OB mentioned the possibility of attempting a version next week. Someone else recommended this in a previous entry, maybe you find something useful there? Since babies *can* turn spontaneously when there's enough room, the rate of success is probably to be taken with a grain of salt. As far as I understand it, it doesn't hurt to try, though!

I've once seen a video documentary where mexican(?) midwifes did some moves with pregnant ladies and large pieces of fabric that looked pretty cool - but I guess the rate of success again depends a lot on the ability of the provider (and again sheer luck... if your baby is willing/able to turn). If you try out anything and succeed, I'd love to hear about it. I hope you can avoid a section, but in case of doubt baby's health has priority.
When it comes to acupuncture and moxibustion(sp?), I really don't understand how it's supposed to work, but again - what doesn't do harm can be tried. At worst you just lose the money spent on it. I think school medicine and alternative options should be combined where it's possible.
