Pregnant?

Jun 30, 2013 22:30

I was hoping you guys would be able to help me? I took a pregnancy test today it had a VERY faint line, but it was off center. Has anyone had this happen and were you pregnant? Photos to scrutinize under the cut. I'm confused because with my son I had a very dark bold line, My period is about 2 weeks late.

I would go with...CONGRATULATIONS!
Lol. That looks pretty dang positive to me! I would re-test in the AM if you're still unsure.

Thank you! I'm not sure if I'm in denial, shock, or just don't trust the line LOL.

From what I hear blue dye pregnancy tests are not as good as the pink. Dollar store brand work well and at a low concentration of pregnancy hormone. *best of luck and baby dust*

With being 2 weeks late and getting a line, I'd say it's very likely legit. But because it is off center and blue dye tests are the most notoriously error-prone, I'd definitely retest and do so with a digital. FWIW, my pink dye HPT seemed to be in the wrong place too but that positive was still a positive and I'm now nearly 11 weeks along with a perfectly healthy little one with a heartbeat of 182. :) Oh, and my pregnancy test with my son was also a totally different experience. Crazy positive the moment the urine hit the dye. Congrats!

looks the way mine looked at around 12 DPO. I took a ton of pregnancy tests over the first week I was pregnant cause I kept wanting to check to be sure, and they started out really light and got darker over the course of the week

I am a Medical Technologist and look at these tests for a living. Congratulations !! Even a faint line is considered positive. Follow up with your Gynecologist and take care of yourself and your little one.
