This is my first pregnancy: I'm in my third trimester, I'll be thirty-four weeks on Tuesday. I'm starting to feel sorry for my friends and family, because I've reached a point where I'm uncomfortable almost all day and night, so it feels like I'm constantly complaining. Most of what's happening is normal, I know. Pains in the back and ribs, pains in my stomach when my baby stretches or moves, intense heartburn, difficulty breathing, and exhaustion.
One thing I'm unsure about though: When my second trimester began, I started having brief but sharp pains in my abdomen and my groin. I did a bit of research online, asked my OB, and felt comfortable that it was all normal. As my pregnancy has progressed, however, the pains have gotten worse. Turning over in bed, getting out of bed, getting up - all come with the sharp pains.
As far as I know, this is pretty normal too. But in the last couple weeks, the pains have gotten even worse. Particularly at night. Turning over or getting out of bed is so painful sometimes that I can hardly move. A few times now, when I've gotten out of bed, I've had to take a moment to stand completely still before I could move again. The pain is worst in my groin.
Is this something I should be concerned about? Or is it all still pretty normal?
Also, apart from growing and becoming uncomfortable, my breasts don't seem to have changed drastically. Should I be concerned that I'm six weeks from my due date, but my milk doesn't seem to have come in yet? Edit: I should say that I know milk doesn't really come in until after you give birth, but I know some leaking during pregnancy is common enough, and I'm just concerned that my breasts are stuck on pause or something.
