So, was the test you took for this incident or the previous incident?

I would go ahead and take a test to see if you are pregnant. If you are, go in to see a doctor to talk about your options.

Part of the way the copper IUD works is that it works to prevent fertilization, but if fertilization occurs, it then works to prevent implantation. So it's possible that you had a chemical pregnancy-- fertilization without implantation.

How could an ovarian cyst cause an IUD to expel? What did your doctors say at the time?
