(no subject)
Hi ladies,
Sunday night just before midnight I started having SEVERE, painful urges to pee.
Literally every 2 minutes I was up and down the stairs and on the toilet and then little bits would come out.
I also started getting pink discharge until at one point it was a very big pink-bloody amount and I
decided to call the midwives who told me to come in as it sounded as either a UTI or labour.
I came there and the pee urges were a little less and no pink smudging again at all.
My blood pressure was a little high, especially as mine never ever goes into the 100s (151/89)
but they said it was alright and the OB did a examination and said baby's head was relatively high up
and my cervix was closed. He also did the fibronectin (?) test for pre term labour and that came back negative.
They have NO idea where the blood/smudging came from and send me on my way back home.
My urine has been a disgusting colour, like, really bad. But nothing came back as a problem or infections etc.
It has a very, very sickly sweet smell to it, though. It actually makes me feel sick when I smell it and at
one point I thought I was going insane so I called my mom and the moment she walked in she said, 'what's that smell?'
I've had no leaking, no gushes etc. They're scheduling a OGTT (my midwife really messed a few things up..)
Last night again I had really bad pain around my uterus and low back pain. I took a painkiller and that helped for a bit.
During the evening the pain was so bad though that I had to actually breathe through it a bit but they weren't contractions.
Unless I'm a complete idiot and just really can't figure out contractions but I doubt it.
Has anybody had this? I'm hopeful that my midwife will be calling me back today because I just don't feel right.
I'm 32+2 and already high risk.
