Fetal heart beat at 13 weeks
UPDATE: First of all, thanks to everyone for your comments. It was reassuring to read that not finding the heartbeat at 13 weeks was more common than I thought.
I went for the ultrasound and the technician said that the baby was measuring on track for 13 weeks and I saw the heart beat! It was flickering away at 148bpm :)
I feel MUCH better now :)
I'm kind of freaking out and could use some reassurance.
I'm 13w3 and went to visit my midwife this morning for a prenatal appointment. Everything was fairly routine, until she tried to find the heart beat with the doppler. She tried for about 15 minutes, but couldn't find anything :(
I'm going for an ultrasound at later today, but I'm wondering if anyone else has been in this position.
At my dating ultrasound, I was told that I have a retroverted uterus, but I'm not sure if that would make a difference.
I'm super anxious :(
