hospital refuses to give me GD medicine

ok. i dont know what to do. my blood sugar an hour after eating/drinking was 160. for the last couple days it's been up from the usual 120s-140s after an hour. stupid hospital refuses to prescribe me Glyburide (insulin pills) like what i took with my 1st when i had BAD Gestational Diabetes (talking 400s here til i started on the pills). they told me to go to EVMS (Eastern Virginia Medical School) and get the docs there to do it and get an ultrasound while i'm at it and a non-stress test (which they ALSO refuse to do at my hospital). well, EVMS is effing me over - trying to eff me over - since they refuse Tricare (military insurance) even tho i was told by them that they DO take it. i have an $1800 bill that EVMS says i need to pay $1800 on (ONE ultrasound). and Tricare says i owe no more than $422.65 (by federal law you cant charge more than 15% of the actual cost). so i'm fighting with EVMS. i dont want the hassle anymore. i DONT see why my hospital cant just write the prescription for Glyburide after seeing me of course. i mean, 160 isnt BAD-bad, but it's definitely creeping up there, and i'm only 29 weeks along.

i know his heart is fine (had an echocardiogram and everything). i know i'm basically in the clear and all i have to expect now is a big baby and/or early labor. i can feel him kicking regularly and moving around CONSTANTLY. but i dont know what to do. should i just be like "screw it" and keep taking my blood sugar, recording it, eating the diabetic diet (that isnt working obviously) and hope for the best? or what? i really cant afford to pay on anymore of the EVMS bill and i'm so damn sick and tired of the hassle and run-around from EVMS. oh, he's also measuring right on time as of my 28 week appt, and i'm having a hard time moving around so exercise/walking is getting difficult due to SPD developing, which i'm sure contributed to the rise in blood sugar as well :(
