Ok, so, this may be a stupid question, but I'm really not sure.
My son was born at home, 4 weeks ago. My midwives gave him his 1 day, and 2 week checkup. When should I start taking him to a pediatrician for shots/ checkups? My first is 4, so I don't remember, and I also didn't have him at home!
I'm waiting on his SS number, and birth certificate so i can enroll him for his insurance, but in the meantime, I'm wondering if he should go sooner than this? My midwives told me that shots are not super important at this point, since he is breastfed.
