Baby dropping early?
I already have a 3.5 year old and a 19 month old, but alas I do not have all the answers. :-) When I went in for my anatomy scan at 20 weeks the technician commented that I was carrying really high. She kept remeasuring and was just amazed at how high I was carrying the baby. At about 23 weeks baby seemed to be stretching out and deciding to go head down instead of every which way. At 25 weeks my midwife said baby was head down and really low, as in she could feel the head down below where my pubic hair would start. Now at 28 weeks it feels like baby is even lower, almost the way it felt when my others engaged. My bump is significantly lower than before, and I am getting pains and swelling in my girly bits from this new positioning. Please tell me this does not mean anything. I have been pushing thoughts of her coming early out of my head the entire pregnancy, and these changes make me nervous.
