Progress...
I posted a little while back that my current Dr. is leaving (moving to Dallas), and i'm having to find another care provider. I've decided to go for having a midwife/birthing center experience. The FH and I will have our first meet with CNM Jackie Griggs at Bay Area Birth Center on Wednesday, and I order my Hypnobabies birth kit on the first! I'm so excited!! 18 more weeks and i'll get to meet my little angel!! I am nervous about birthing without drugs, since Jackie told me on the phone that they only give drugs in rare circumstances, so it looks like i'll be doing this drug-free. If there are no drugs there for relief, then I can't use them. I'll just have to use hypnobabies to help me focus and bear the pain...but i'm soooo scared. I was also told that if I wanted a c-section or epidural, I would need the hospital, neither of which I had intended on having, but I would like the option of having drugs given to me by Heparin Lock if I really really couldn't stand it anymore.
