It's Official!
I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I can officially say I’m a member of this community. After three years, a test confirming my husband’s infertility, two rounds of IUI in 2008, we used a new donor this cycle, and I finally got my BFP this morning. It’s still extremely early; based on my ovulation, I’m only 3w4d along. The result was a little faint, but a positive is a positive is a positive. My husband and I are ecstatic, our parents are over the moon. It’s the first grand child on both sides. As far as symptoms go, I feel some extra fatigue, slightly tender breasts, and some light cramping. Basically, I feel like I do on the first day of my period, minus the bleeding. Anyway, my EDD is July 19th, 2011, and I couldn’t be happier!
