(no subject)
Hi everybody! Hope everyone is doing well!
I have my appointment with my Perinatologist on October 5th, this tuesday, to check out baby Sebastiens Choroid Plexus cyst. Although my OB assured me that it seems like by now the cyst should be completely dissolved and everything should be fine, nobody is ever 100% sure. I am pretty nervous, but jumping at the chance to see Sebastien via ultrasound again as I wont be able to until the 3D ultrasound which comes much later.
Last night I thought I felt a lump on my breast so I was checking for that and i noticed afterwards that I was LEAKING clear and yellowish liquid!! just out of curiousity once i woke up i put a little pressure on my breast to see if it would happen again, and yep, it did. I know that leaking is to be expected, but I feel like it has come a little early for me at 22w4d with my first pregnancy. What are all of your experiences with leaking? Does this ensure a long and happy year of breastfeeding for me and my little one?! =]
I also have a story to share. Last night I went to the Hollywood Paladium to see the band SPOON play, and the show was great and lots of fun! I was sitting in the ADA section because my feet were sore and swollen and i wanted to be as far away from the pot smoke as I could get. As the band was playing a young man, probably around my age came up to me and touched my belly and gave me a slight kiss on the cheek and said to me "I'm going to a close friends funeral tomorrow, I really needed you, thank you, you are beautiful". It was awesome, I am glad i made someone feel a little better. Also this was the first time a stranger has touched my bump, and as much as I thought I would hate it, I actually loved it. It was a really nice experience.
Finally I have one more question, anyone feeling really sore on the upper right rib area? I know this can mean water retention and preeclampsia. I made a doctors appointment but my primary care physician wouldnt see me due to change in insurance! What a pain. It will have to wait until my next OB appointment on the 18th. Until then, I have been checking my blood pressure regularly and it is very normal.
OH and I almost forgot to mention that last night while gettign ready for the show i found out that no bottoms but my yoga pants fit me anymore. So due to this crazy Southern California heat wave, i ended up wearing my cousins boxer shorts! Ugh how embarrassing! Time to go shopping I guess! =[
