I've been eating them all along. But the only time I'll eat lunchmeat is if it's a toasted sub from Subway or Quiznos or I'll eat the baked turkey from the local butcher shop if I purchased it less than 5 days previously. I've been fine.

I'd skip it, but that's just me. :) If you think toasting it gets it "steaming hot" (that's how hot they recommend you get your lunchmeat first), then go ahead. I don't think their toasting process gets it that warm, though, tbh.

Same here. But I also got distracted and forgot I wasn't supposed to be eating lunchmeat one day when I was at my mom's. She served us roast beef, I ate it, and then remembered later that I wasn't supposed to eat it.

Baby is still not dead. My guess is that if you have already eaten lunch meat that's not been heated sufficiently, you'll be fine. But I wouldn't keep doing it because (when I'm not an idiot), I'm kinda paranoid.

I agree. :) Yep the risk is small, but if you can avoid continually taking that risk, all the better.

It's probably fine. I ate it cold because I can't stand it hot.
