Anterior Placenta

I know that with an anterior placenta, the movements from the baby are absorbed quite a bit by the placenta. Is it always this way? As he gets bigger, will I continue to feel him more and more or will the movements always seem "muffled"? I feel so clueless since this is my first pregnancy.
