Hi there!!
I'm 32 wks 1 day along, now. The physical pains of pregnancy have officially settled in. I just don't remember being in this much pain all the time with my first 3 babies?? My mom said I didn't start complaining with the other ones until much closer to my due date, lol. Ah well, I guess that's why I'm on moderated bed rest.
At my 30 week appt I got an ultrasound, and the baby is measuring a couple weeks ahead (normal) and was 3lb 14oz. Chubby cheeks! I'm so excited to see him in another 8 weeks (or so). My "plan" is to not be induced, and no epidural. I'll accept like, nubain, that goes into the vein. I had Aiden with no drugs, so I know I am not as afraid.
The one thing I was thinking about at my appt, was that the doc said baby was head down, but at the ultrasound an hour later, the tech showed the baby to be breech. So I'm wondering how the heck we're going to know which way is up as we get closer? Maybe it's easier to tell as he gets bigger?? I never had these issues with the prior babies, so I feel so naive for having 3 kids already, lol. I'll be asking at my appt tomorrow.
So I posted a while ago about having a 4rth baby shower, in general, and got TONS of responses, all of which were incredibly helpful. Well, my friend has completely taken over the shower... lol, and is throwing it full fledged. I'm totally grateful, but anyone who talks to me, I just explain it's more of a "Welcome to this world" party for the baby as well as a chance for me to see everyone at once. It'll be fun.
Question for those due early November... Anyone have their bag packed? I don't. I'm waiting till 36 weeks for whatever reason. Just seems like a good time to do it I guess.
