Panic!

Everything is like panic mode now... every cramp I feel is like, "OMG is that the start of contractions?" or if I get a gas pain I worry that I'm all of a sudden going to get the dreaded labor diarrhea. I had lower back pains last night that I couldn't tell if they were bathroom related or baby related. Still some cramping this morning, but I get

yeah i've been there. is this ur first? i know its hard but just breath. maybe stop looking for signs till maybe u get a bloodie show... just a thought..

No, it's my fourth, but all of mine have been induced in the past, so I have no idea what actual labor starts out like.

Guess I probably should have referenced this post somewhere in there.

Hoping against hope for an extra 5+ weeks before anything happens!

That is how I spent pretty much every minute of weeks 38-40. I was perpetually convinced that I was going to go into labor at any time...and ended up going into labor on my due date.

35w2d today and really hoping to make it another 4w5d, at the very minimum! I'm just paranoid because my doctor is worried now about premature labor and I want my maternity leave to last through til the end of the year. If he comes early, I have to go back to work before Christmas (blech). This is baby #4 and I'm trying to rely on the precedent that NONE of the other 3 has come out of their own volition. LOL
