WAHM (Work @ Home Moms)...

Sep 01, 2010 19:19

I know this is a long shot, and mods feel free to delete. I'm due with my first living baby April 1, and other than SSDI benefits, I haven't had an income in over 2 years. I would like to be a work at home mom AND a student with the new baby comming, and I was wondering how many WAHM's there were here, and what you did. The only think I can think of that i've been looking into and researching for a while is Virtual Assisting. I would like to be close to the baby and still maintain at least a parttime job. I want to be able to take a break to breastfeed, or change the baby as needed, and just generally do something flexible.

ETA:

I have a year and a half undergrad under my belt right now, getting my associate's in 8-12 Education with teaching certifications, and getting certified in Graphic/Web Design & Implementation, and Executive/Administrative Assisting & Desktop Support/Networking.
