Today was the date of our anatomy scan and let me tell you it was quite a surprise!

GIRL! I guess we are not completely shocked, though for a while I was convinced it was a boy, even after the girl dreams I had in the beginning. My family ALWAYS has girls. There has not been a male born in many many years. I know the male determines the sex of the baby, but my genes beat up his genes in this male vs female battle! =P Just kidding! My husband is very very happy that the baby is a girl and told me after the appointment that he was hoping for a girl. Time to start the shopping!
