Today I am three weeks PP, and for a while now my c-section scar hasn't hurt at all, but the last couple days it's been sore and rather painful when I move certain ways. I've been sick and coughing and sneezing, so I'm assuming the pain has something to do with that. My question is, could I have actually caused damage to my insides like this

I would take it easy. You are still healing, and will be for a while. When I coughed, I held a pillow over my stomach and that helped.

I experienced pain off/on for up to a year, because there is just a lot to heal!

I wish I had advice to offer, but I'm in my first pregnancy.
I just wanted to mention how adorable that picture is.
He looks just like a fish!

I'm pretty sure that's normal. I had a c-section in May. My incision area hurt for the first few weeks, and then a few weeks after that it would only hurt when I turned over in bed too fast. And then it was fine until I went back to work at 10 weeks PP and sitting in my desk chair made it hurt for a few weeks. Scar tissue and healing is weird like that I guess.

I am 9.5 weeks pp, csection and all that fun, and I still get pain. There'll be days that are generally okay but then suddenly the next day it'll be all ouch. Usually it happens the morning after a night of work where I've walked a lot more than usual or something so I absolutely think coughing and sneezing would irritate the whole area. It was at least a month before I could laugh comfortably, I hesitate to think about coughing or sneezing!

I had a pretty bad cough while I was recovering but it didn't seem to really affect anything. As long as your stitches are healing fine then you should be okay.
