Birth Announcement!

Weight: 7lbs14oz
Length: 20inches!
And he's got big feet too apparently!
Or at least the nurses all said so. :P
Wasn't the best birth experience. I spent a week in the hopsital. went in on the 7th for an induction, which went no where. Thursday they put me on a pit drip and broke my waters, at 1:30pm. I stalled out at 5cm after 3 hours at max and he was facing facing up instead of down which is why they think I did. So We went for a section. The Anethiesiologist couldn't get an epidural in and she tried a lot. so I had to go completely under, and I didn't get to see him til 3am. which was really the worst part of it all. though waking up to hear that he has a great set of lungs and balls. (yes I wasn't told I had a boy specificaly, just that my baby was born with balls!)was kind of amusing.
Though in the end it was all good. Nurses knew I wanted to breastfeed so no one gave him anything until I was awake and could feed him myself. The hardest part was staying in the hospital for four days after he was born, but I was out of there as soon as I could get out.
He was weighed last Thursday and was at 7lbs9oz, so he's gaining his weight back fast and should be up to his birthweight again in no time! and the cats aren't too upset by the new arrival.
