I had my beautiful daughter Ellenie LouVette D. June 4th and I am sorry you've yet to see pictures but I barely have time to eat!
I was wondering when you know the difference in learning to deal with the stress of a new baby and when it is actually post partum.
My boyfriend is wonderful. He takes care of everything for us financial. This means he has to work 7pm-7am so when he is home he's asleep leaving me sole caregiver.
I tried sooo very hard to breast feed her but she just refuses to latch on even with nipple sheild. Something so natural shouldn't be so hard.. Now I pump every 3 hours, but I just don't produce enough milk to keep her solely on bm. Again making me feel inadequate that I have to also give her formula.
I am horrible at managing time. I feed, change dispersed, pump (usually leaking late) lay down for a nap and repeat. I can't find time for myself or my house. My boyfriend made the comment "I don't understand, she sleeps most of the day." I just feel extremely overwhelmed.
To make everything even better she somehow got this little cold. Runny nose, sneezy, doctor put her on medicine. I couldn't go 2 weeks with out getting her sick.
When do I stop thinking it's just stress and start worrying I have baby blues?
hormone changes,
depression,
post partum,
breastfeeding problems
