Joint pain..?
I'm currently 33w3d.
I have recently (in the past couple weeks) developed a new problem. Whenever I wake up at night to go to the bathroom (roughly 6 times per night), I notice that my hands have locked up and it REALLY hurts to move my fingers. It hurts so much that I have a hard time getting my PJ pants off to use the bathroom. I sleep on my side with my arms infront of me, not in any weird position and not compressing my arms/hands in any way, and it happened in both hands at the same time, regardless of the side I'm sleeping on. During the day I have no problems and no pain. I also have no problems with any other joints.
Has anyone ever had that happen? Could this be pregnancy related, or have I suddenly developed arthritis in my hands at the ripe old age of 26?
