Go to the local health department (they wont charge you) and WIC. They can provide some help and guidance.
My mom was 13 when she was married to an older man who was 28 at the time. She had a child within the first year of that relationship. It wasn't the best of circumstances and ended when she was around 16. Its not easy. But she managed to get by (without even a high school degree that she later achieved when she was older).
Things happen. I know its hard to think of the positive when so much negative things happen, but try to.
Sure you might be 18. And for some, that might be too young to have kids. But people around the world have been having kids from ages 15 and up, and in some places, younger still. Whats right? who knows. Biology seems to tick away that its okay cause it happens.
But your 18. You've got soooo many good years ahead of you. Things change and will improve.
Your alone now.... But think of the people around you. Isn't there someone? and just because the father might be out of the picture, from the sounds of it... hes probably done this a lot before. You are better off without him.
And without him, you'll be free to heal and move on. You'll find someone better and be that much more wiser.
If the guy is worth a place in your life and heart, he won't mind that you have a baby/child.
And biology doesn't always make a person a good parent.
I'm not the biological mom to three boys that live here, but I am there step-mom and have a place in their life. Just because I didn't give birth to them doesn't mean I can't love them and be a parental figure.
