I know I'm annoying....

Ugh 40 weeks today. I know, I know it could be worse. But I am venting  to just vent ya know? A friend of mine said to request to have my membranes stripped at my next apt which is in an hour. I was 2cms and 50 percent effaced at my last apt last week. Has anyone had this done? How did it go for you

Until your baby & body are ready, any induction methods, self or medical, are only going to serve to frustrate you more and most carry risks. If this is your first, the average first baby doesn't arrive until after 41 weeks - the 40 week due date is just easier for doctors.

The last couple weeks seem to last forever, but he'll be here in a matter of days! Try to relax. :)

Yep if you want to avoid interventions just do your best to be patient.

This! I would hold off on interventions for a bit longer. Just try and stay active in the meantime.
