I've been having period like cramps for a little over two weeks. The nurse asked if I was cramping or having contractions and I told her I was cramping. She said good! So I assume that it's an okay thing to be cramping at this stage. I really only cramp at night and in the mornings while in bed. Once I'm up and moving around cramping is very rare. It's just I've noticed that as the nights go on the cramping gets more intense. It's nothing I can't handle. I've had worse cramps while on my period but it's getting up there. I also noticed last night that this time every single time I peed..which I pee a lot haha...I'd start getting these cramps as soon as I layed down. Which before it'd just be once or twice a night. Last night I probably peed around seven times and it happened every time. Then I woke up with really intense cramping. Like I said once again when I got up to shower and such it went away. I guess my actual question is does this cramping mean that baby will be here soon. Especially since it's getting worse? Oooor is this something that can happen every night until baby comes even if baby is overdue? Because I know it obviously means your body is probably getting ready for labor..but I didn't know if I should maybe expect it in the next few days or not.
I guess it's just my hopes that it'll come soon. My pregnancy has been super easy and I've been so lucky. I've had people since week 20 look at me and say I bet your ready to get that thing out of you. Which I never understood because I've barely had problems and honestly loved pregnancy. Now I'm starting to understand though because I'm a ton bigger and It's hard to get out of bed or do much at all on my own. ::sigh:: I haven't had contractions or anything. So I guess it was my hopes that this at least means SOMETHING. haha.
Thanks! :D
