Okay so, this weekend my Aunt asked me am I taking classes (were not) we were going too, but the class is 80$ a couple and we just can not afford it right now with rent, bills and preparing for our son. We also don't really have the time being that we both work full time and all I ever feel like doing when I come home is relaxing. I know some people claimed there were free classes, but I looked around and I didn't find any that were free so that isn't really an option. Most of my friends who have children told me they didn't take any with the first and were fine.. anyway she made it seem like I was nuts for not taking them. "How are you going to know what to do!" "Aren't you scared!" yeah, I' am but I made this choice 8 months ago. It's MY child and I'm pretty sure, even him being my first I will know how to take care of him.
I'm through two books already, I have everything ready for him and I could not be more excited for his arrival. Of course I'm nervous but I know we will do just fine for him :)
Is anyone else not taking classes with the first? what are you doing to prepare?
