Okay, this may just sound like paranoia to many people but I assure you I'm not just paranoid!
I am 18w 6d and, for the past few weeks, my stomach had been huge! It was usually hard and I could feel where the baby was. I went to a clinic the other day just for a regular checkup (not an OB), it was for myself but they also checked the baby's heartbeat and it was fine.
A few days ago, I started having diarrhea. It lasted for about a day and a half, and the day after I realized that my stomach was soft. I figured that I had just been constipated or something (which has never happened to me and I find odd since I was still having frequent bowl movements before?). Now though, my stomach has obviously shrunk. I noticed it 2 days ago and today I woke up and I can actually suck my stomach in to some extent (not that I ever do, I was just wondering how big of a difference there was). I've considered bloating, but would it really have been to such an extent that my stomach was gigantic and I didn't even notice I was bloating? It's not just me noticing the shrink, my family has too. I wish I would've done measurements of my belly so I could prove it but that had never crossed my mind.
I can't feel the baby now, and I know I didn't lose but it's just weirding me out. This isn't supposed to be normal, is it? I've felt all over my stomach and can't find the baby (I was instructed by an OB on how to feel it so I could know where it was).
I have an appointment on Wednesday, and I can't think of anything that would be terribly wrong to cause this kind of thing. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the reason could be.
