Okay so this just seems totally CRAZY to me but I was wondering if anyone had heard of this before So a friend of mine just had her baby on Monday. Yay! But here's the crazy part: the doctors thought she was having false labor & gave her morphine, saying it would help with the pain & stop the contractions. The babyboy didn't cry/only wanted to sleep/wouldn't eat when he was first born. He cries some now. But is it normal practice to give morphine for false labor? Seems a bit much to me...
