(no subject)
As if the terrible morning sickness (or should I call it "all day sickness"?!) wasn't bad enough, but today I found out that I have a bladder infection. It's uncomfortable but I didn't really think too much about it until the doctor told me that because I'm still early on in my pregnancy a bladder infection could possibly lead to a miscarrige (I can't remember exactly how he worded it, but it didn't sound quite as harsh). I will be 14 weeks tomorrow. How concerned should I be about this? I started to feel the symptoms on Monday but left it until today to get treated. And it wasn't my OB who I saw, it was a doctor at a walk-in clinic because I'm not scheduled to see my OB until next Friday. The doctor just told me to take the antibiotics as prescribed and if I had any more symptoms or noticed any spotting to head to the ER.
