So I was watching on the Doctor that a womans baby died after birth due to her not knowing she was having an outbreak or knowing in general (can't quite remember that part). Anyways, I' was diagnosed with hsv 6 or so years ago but haven't had an outbreak since. My doctor just prescribed me the antivirals for a "just in case" and I was told to take it at 36 weeks...well after watching that episode I started taking it a little shy of 35 weeks. But has anyone ever heard about it actually causing you to have an outbreak? Ever since I've been taking it I get a tingly feeling once or twice a day. I have to take the meds twice a day and I have been, I'm just concerned I'll end up having an outbreak and then there goes my chances of a vaginal birth.
