Has anyone else experienced this in the early 2nd trimester? I'm 15w3d with my first, and I've been feeling this on and off for about two weeks (honestly, maybe earlier, I can't really remember if I felt it much in the first trimester). I kind of brushed it off but decided to ask after I read about it being an issue if you feel it after orgasm - which I did, yesterday, but I don't think it was caused by orgasm as I haven't had it with that before and it was also the end of the day and I had been sitting in uncomfortable positions throughout. I mostly notice it if I've been sitting/laying with bad posture, at the end of the day, and if I haven't had much water to drink during the day. (To be clear, most of the time I don't have it at all - but when I do.) When I do feel it, it's mostly mild, but occasionally it will feel like more intense pressure, like a bearing down feeling almost. It's kind of between my rectum and vagina but seems to be more concentrated in my rectum and ... spreading outwards, if that makes sense, and like it's more difficult to contract my PC muscles. I'm thinking it might be constipation/gas related or related to not drinking enough water, since it usually appears on days when my water intake is way down, and I know I have a lot of trapped gas and have been having some constipation (well, not that I can't go, but I can't go much at a time). Generally drinking water, laying down, or having a bowel movement clears it up. (Though the latter doesn't always since sometimes I still kind of have to go!) It started again last night and I can still feel it a bit today despite that, but I don't think I'd notice it as being much more than usual if I wasn't super-paranoid about it. It's not painful, just noticable and occasionally, briefly uncomfortable.
So, that was kind of a rant, but has anyone experienced pelvic/rectal pressure around this time? (I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday and will of course bring it up, but I'd like to hear other experiences, too!) I checked the tags but most of it was pelvic pressure in later pregnancy.
