Hello all, my name is Kara. I'm twenty one, and expecting my first. We just had our first ultrasound... I wanted to share the jelly bean, and introduce myself to the community. I'm looking for support and friends-- My due date is actually thanksgiving... November 26 09.

Im glad you posted this. I was actually wondering around what time I will get my first ultra sound. Im about 5-6 weeks.

It depends your doctor & insurance & health. I wouldn't have gotten one except the 20week u/s that checks the gender except i'm high risk for twins, so i got one to check at 8w5d. I'm the only one i know in person who got one so early or will have multiples, though online i see tons of people who get really early ones too.

So, you'd have to call your doctors office and ask them their policy on that sort of thing. :)
