(no subject)
Hey ladies,
Another post but it's not about me, actually! It's about a co-worker of mine. I believe she said she's about... 7 1/2 months or somewhere along those lines.
Anyway, she's been a total wreck lately. She's been suffering from depression, anxiety, exhaustion from work, etc. and lately when her and her husband sleep together she gets a pain in her groin. Recently, she noticed a varicose vein on her lady-parts and said THAT'S what has been causing her pain and when they sleep together it gets swollen and hurts really bad.
She didn't worry TOO much until today. We work on our feet allllll 8 hours of the day and about 1/2 way through her shift she started sobbing to me that her vein is hurting her. I encouraged her to call her doctor (it was kind of late in the day though) and she said she's afraid he might put her on bed rest and not let her work, and she said she can't afford that right now. Eventually she called and talked to the receptionist who relayed the information to her doctor and he said "it's normal" and that was that. It wasn't really reassuring.
My question is... have any of you had varicose veins on your lady parts that cause you this kind of pain during pregnancy? Of all the things I've heard of in these communities, I haven't really heard of this one. Thanks a million!
