For me that was the case between my first and second children. My first was 5 hours from start to finish and my second was exactly half of that (2 1/2 hours) .
I made up for the easy short labors with my third and fourth children though (18 hrs and 36 hrs)

With the third I remember praying I would make it to the hospital in time =]
God sure answered that prayer LOL.

My 2 labors were 11 hours each.

My first was 14 hours, second was 6 hours, third was 2 3/4 hours. We'll see how long this one will be!

1st was 33 hours, 2nd was 9 hours, and 3rd was 33 hours. Who knows what this one will be, but I am hoping it's a little shorter! :-p
