Wow...it's October already? And don't kid yourself, they're not having any parades for Canadian Thanksgiving.
...
Wait. What's at the end of the month?

Hope springs eternal. But I'll settle for the turkey.

October 28th. It's Czechoslovakian Independence Day.

Turkey's okay.

What's really on the 28th?

It is the keystone of the Thanksgiving celebration.

...The day I first graced this world with my illustrious presence.

I always thought it should be pumpkin pie. I could go without turkey if there was still pie. The turkey lasts forever after the day.

Oh, okay. Do you want a party?

I do concede pumpkin pie as an equally fundamental part of the holiday.

Only if it involves a bonfire in which we burn the City to the ground.

Do you like chocolate?

[OOC: Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!]

Of course! But it's your birthday. Do you like chocolate?

[ooc: Thank you! I have now had two separate pies and am feeling slightly ill! I suppose that's the point of Thanksgiving.]

Normally I cater to Jeffrey's preferences.

But chocolate is pretty good.

That's what happens with little brothers or sisters.

Not your favourite, though?
