Oh, boy, a power outage. Just what I always wanted. Good thing I stocked up on spare batteries for my radio.

Gee, maybe we'll have a flood next. People are apparently turning into fish today, if the underwater videos on the Network are any indication. Now all we need is for the water level to start rising, and then we'll really have a natural ( Read more... )

Perhaps you have failed to notice the vast numbers of people currently sporting gills. A flood is entirely possible.

No I noticed but I was responsible for the power outage. I'm telling you I won't be responsible for a flood should that happen. You'll have to take it up with the deities.

I work with many machines -- power outages tend to cause problems, even if I have backup power.

The power went out. Being unexpectedly stranded in darkness was a form of disaster.
